Surveys are out - check your inboxes!

Hey y'all,
I sent out surveys via Backerkit yesterday! This is where you'll finalize your rewards, add-on any additional items you want, and provide shipping information. You'll also provide your payment information for shipping and additional add-on items, but I won't be charging cards for those things until closer to the shipping date. If you lost or did not receive your survey, you can use Backerkit's Survey Recovery process to get a new link by providing your email address.
Please complete your surveys soon so that I can get an accurate count of rewards and move forward with placing the enamel pin orders next month. About half of the surveys have already been completed - thank you to everyone who was so quick! So far and the most popular book stacks (aside from the rainbow ones) are for Disability, Asexual, and Pansexual pride flags!
With love and creativity,
Max
P.S. I'll be bringing some of my bookish merch to NYC for BookCon in April!
The campaign has ended! What happens next?

Hey y'all, we did it! The campaign ended last night with enough funding to unlock ALL of the book stack designs. I'm really excited about this since the Book Stacks include several less common LGBTQ+ flags I don't currently have much other merch for. I've already send all of the designs to my manufacturer so that they can start preparing for production. I also wanted to let you know that the remaining sets of limited edition Glitter Bookends will be available as an add-on during the survey!
What happens next?
February 15th: You will receive an email from Backerkit to complete your post-campaign survey. This is where you'll add-on any additional items you want, provide your address, pay shipping fees. Using Backerkit allows me to better manage my campaign logistics and set up a pre-order storefront for folks who missed backing the initial campaign.
March/April: Once enough of the surveys have been completed to give me approximate counts for items I will send the final order to my manufacturer to begin production. I'll update you all once I have in-progress pictures from them!
June/July: As long as there aren't any major delays the pins should arrive in June or July. Once I receive and do initial quality checks I'll post an update with photos for y'all.
August/September: Once the pins are in-hand there's still some work to do before they're ready to send to you. There's no such thing as a "perfect" enamel pin, so all my pins are individually graded to ensure there are no noticeable cosmetic defects on the rewards for backers. This means examining each pin individually before packaging it.
October: The current plan is for rewards* to be shipped in October! I'll be able to provide a more exact timeline once we get into grading and packaging. This timeline has a little wiggle room in case anything needs to get remade. It's very possible I'll be able to start shipping rewards for this project earlier than expected.
*If you also plan on backing my Bookshelves for Bibliophiles project and combining shipping your Pride in the Pages will be held until that project ships. The current estimated shipping date for those rewards is the end of November.
Thank you all for your support of this project!

More colorways unlocked!

Hey y'all,
This project had a little mid-campaign surge when I launched Bookshelves for Bibliophiles: Return to the Library over on Backerkit last week! We've reached $5,000, which unlocked five more colorways for the book stacks. It's looking very possible we'll hit that final $6,000 stretch goal - if you want to help make that happen consider increasing your pledge or sharing this campaign with friends!
Additionally, I wanted to share that Bookshelves for Bibliophiles: Return to the Library has had a very strong launch. Over $16,000 was pledged to that project in its first three days, unlocking ALL the new pin designs and an additionally freebie pin for every backer. Backers who support both projects will get a free mini pin for their Pride in the Pages shelves and the option to combine shipping fees for their rewards. Go check it out if you want more bookish pins!
Thank you everyone for your support of this campaign. I'm feel like the number designs we've funded will allow for a great amount of customization!
With love and solidarity,
Max
Large shelves unlocked - new pledge tier added!

Hey y'all,
The campaign hit $4,000 raised yesterday, which means that the large bookshelves are not available! They can hold up to four book stacks each (or three with the rainbow bookends) and have been added to the campaign as an add-on item and a new pledge tier. We're also up to eight book stacks unlocked and we're on the way to funding five more.
The initial surge of funding has slowed down, but we're still steadily gaining followers and I'm optimistic we'll at least hit the $5,000 goal in the next few weeks. I also wanted to remind everyone that my other upcoming project, Bookshelves for Bibliophiles: Return to the Library, will be launching on Backerkit on January 22nd. Check it out here!
Thank you all for the support. I look forward to seeing how much farther we can take this campaign!

Campaign funded... stretch goals up next!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported this campaign on day one! Thanks to y'all, we're off to a strong start and the campaign has already reached its initial funding goal. This means that we have enough funds to cover the rainbow book stacks, small and medium shelves, limited edition book ends, and campaign freebies.
What comes next?
Next up are the stretch goals to unlock a lot more book stacks and the larger shelves. The first stretch goal will unlock 5-books stacks in the transgender and lesbian colorways once the campaign reached $2,500. After that the bisexual/pansexual stacks will unlock at $3,000 and things will keep going from there.
Crowdfunding campaigns usually have their largest spikes in funding during the first and last few days of the campaign. The middle weeks tend to wax and wane a little, but will likely continue to unlock stretch goals at a slower speed. I am running this campaign in tandem with my Bookshelves for Bibliophiles: Return to the Library, which launches on Backerkit January 22nd, and hope to see another surge of traffic to this project once it goes live.
Wishing everyone the happiest of new years!
Max
